That's the dumbest shyt i ever read. Football Athletes have a standard of being professional. Come on breh do i really have to explain word for word on how professional athletes are required to act? :snoop:

Don't bother, most folks around here think it's okay to just swing on anybody that makes you mad because that's being real. :heh:

Everett should have just walked off set. Dude's career took a nosedive after that shyt and he was never mentioned as anything close to good after those playoff flops.

But hey, let nikkas tell it... :ohhh:

Yall are talking like Jim Everett had his own radio show that competed with Rome. Naw. He was an athlete and he beat up the host who was talking shyt on his own show. That can never be a loss.

And I haven't seen any video of Rome disrespecting anyone else to their face since then :mjpls:

Think about the pub he got from that:whew:

Basically, that was his goal, why Everatt went on the the show, baffles me. Rome won, cause he got exactly what he wanted out of that episode.

That basically introduced him to the greater public, and helped take his career to a whole bigger level. Most of us at that had no clue who he was.

Was it really a win though? :ld: What exactly did Everett gain from that? Rome still talks his same brand of shyt on his show everyday. Rome gets the biggest names in sports to appear on his shows on multiple formats. He's one of the biggest names in sports himself and all that exchange did was propel him towards all of that. The fact that he hasn't done it to anyone else actually reflects poorly on Everett. Everett was right there in his face trying his hardest to intimidate him Rome still blatantly disrespected him in a true "no fukks given" :manny: fashion. Everett responded by giving Rome exactly what he wanted. You can't lose when you get what you want out of the deal. Furthermore he didn't even "beat him up", he knocked him out of a chair. Everett lost just by going on the show of a man that had regularly called him a bytch in the first place. Then he compounded it by first getting visibly upset, trying to intimidate him, and then completely losing his cool on national TV. However all of that is outweighed by shoving a guy out of a chair? :comeon:

Jim Rome is an entertainer. He gets paid to get more viewers. Controversy sells.

Exactly. Winning and losing is all about understanding the game you are playing. The name of the game was not who can knock who out of the chair it was who can get what they want? Rome got old boy on his show, he got ratings, he got propelled to a huge career. Everett got to push him out of chair. :heh: Does a basketball player win if he gets ejected from a big game for swinging on a nikka that was trying to get under his skin the whole game? nikkas are way to short-sighted.

Rome didn't start caking until years after this happened so can yall stop saying this incident is the reason why hes making money

He actually lost his job cause of this and it hurt his career. He had to build himself back up after this but ofcourse to all the nikkas with revisionist history this catapulted him to millions :comeon:

It was a L for both of them IMO but Rome did a great job recovering from his L
