That's what I'm saying, you don't judge an artist of that caliber, of that longevity and with that diversity off a few songs. There's at least 1 K-Rino album I'm not too keen on, if I heard that or a few songs from that I may have a warped opinion of his music. No-one is saying dude's music always been perfect, but he does have some absolutely truly exceptional albums and work, many infact. In my opinion, and only my opinion, but I feel like he got better and better, I would say personally start with his discography backwards, from the latest albums back for new listeners. I realize and respect that many will disagree with that who are fans, but I think the latter career is more universal than some of the early career. What is frustrating to see, is a GREAT amazing ARTIST dismissed and put in an unfair bracket off a few songs, it's quite sickening, it's not fair or reasonable and it's due to the listeners laziness. Anyone who knows about my taste knows I know my Hip Hop and am a real dude. Off the artists I listen to and what I say, you have to think, if I rate an artist THIS highly it must be for a reason. If you look at the others in my top 10 it really is an impeccable list artist wise, for K-Rino to be so far up has to be a reason. At the end of the day, not giving a chance means the listener is missing out, because K-Rino isn't good but is phenomenal, he truly is an elite artist. 1 of the greatest I've had the honor of hearing, am blessed got to hear a a true genius of an MC and nothing but respect and admiration for K.

Which one is that? :lupacshakur:

Out of his 30+ disc discog...the only Rino joints i don't really fukk with too tough are albums like Triple Darkness Vol.3 & The Other Side where he features too many SPC D-listers...

But even on his weaker albums he has tracks like these....which make em worth the spin

I liked The Other Side, that had some ILL shyt, some bangers where he was just ripping the mic coldly, and as you said The Session which is an all time classic Hip Hop record, just complete mastery, had the aggression, delivery, concept, everything. The album I wasn't so keen on was 1 of the Triple Darkness series too, the first 1 is really dope though. And it wasn't really cause of K, it was the beats, K still brought it lyrically but the beats brought it down a bit, but there's classics on that album too, but overall wasn't his strongest to me.

P.S: "Run up in a tinted black car screaming Allah U Akbar"...

There's a difference between a "legend" co-signing a hot artist with alot of buzz because he wants feature :skip: and "legends" co-signing an artist who's been in the game for a while but is largely unknown nationally and way past his peak in popularity, and the person dropping the co-sign doesn't benefit in anyway whatsoever, financially or otherwise. And it isn't just co-signs, he actually inspired several "legendary" rappers who made a big mark on the game. How can you be trash when your music played a heavy influence on the likes of Bun, Z-Ro, Canibus, Killer Mike, 3-6 Mafia etc.

I'm just not buying the fact that you know more about rap than Scarface, Bun, @The Ruler 09 , myself etc. etc. etc.

Your musical tastebuds are all out of wack breh.
Just because Canibus, Z-Ro, Killer Mike, and etc. cosign you, don't make you immunity from being wack. K-Rino just makes wack music in my opinion. You can't argue that.

I never said I knew more about hip hop than you "hip hop heads," but do you. I listen to what I LISTEN TO. If it sounds good to me, then it's good. I don't shove old school hip hop down people's throat. That's corny and gay to me.

EDIT: @The Ruler 09 hurt. He just negged me.

Hip Hop
You did, you went way overboard where it was disrespectful and not about music opinions, and I don't think you'd say that to dudes faces, like I said could hook that up if necessary. But again, willing to draw a line under the situation and shyt if you stick to it this time. You're the 1 who been making personal attack threads on me , and bringing up and dissing K-Rino at every opportunity, even when it's not relevant to do so. Can't say I haven't offered to just chill on the shyt lol, as there's no need really...

Im goin need proof where i disrespected K-Rino. and i apologize if i did but i was more attacking your self-righteous mindstate.

Let me make this short & simple.

OUR opinions on Rino's music are more in tune with the Greats in rap... Scarface, Bun B etc. have far more knowledge on what it takes to craft quality rap music than a coli nikka.

YOUR opinion is more consistent with faceless nobodys on a message board who have no credentials in the music business and have accomplished nil in life.

Therefore, our opinions are valid, yours aren't. Have another neg for your troubles. :sas2:

So your opinion is valid because you listen to old school rap? :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

And mine isn't because I choose not to?:russ::russ::russ:

Cut it out. Music opinions doesn't determine what you accomplish in life, because I know alot of stuck in the hood nikkas that's 40 years old that listen to Scarface and Bun B. I'll return the neg.

I can now see word/sentence comprehension isn't a strong suit of yours

So it's not suprising at all a mentally slow nikka wouldn't be able to get a grasp on Rino's music. It all makes sense now. :sas2:
