the thing about 'old' kanye was that he made more mature music than 'new' kanye who is actually OLD. He's pushin 40 and making more immature shyt now then he did in his mid 20's. That's really what's got him fukked him. Instead of growing with his audience he's tried to appeal to the youth making the generic 'turn up' music that's hot. He's alienated a significant core of his fanbase by trying to appeal to a crowd that are not checking for him.

Them singles ain't make no noise to the audience he want it to like @RichYung said awhile back. If he had a song hitting like Commas or Trap nikkas, his album would be out.

Future & Kanye have 2 very different fanbases, Trap nikkas is far from a hit, and Commas only reached #55 on Billboards Hot 100 while All Day reached #15. Commas reached #14 on Billboard R&B/Hip Hop while All Day reached #6. Commas only reached #11 on the Billboard Rap Charts while All Day reached #4. "All Day" did better on the rap charts than "Commas" did, so I dont know what else yall expecting him to do:manny:

At end of the day, none of the singles flopped like OP said. By the way, who was he marketing "Only One" & "FourFiveSeconds" too? Those sounded like white/pop songs to me, and they reached his intended audience....#35 and #4 song on Billboard's Hot 100. They also peaked at #11 & #1 on the Billboard's R&B/Hip Hop Charts

Yeezus had some wack singles and still sold. When Kanye decides to drop "ANYTHING" his fans will be there to cop.

should say fukk mainstream opinion and continue down the expirimental route he took with the last album, the backlash has him shook so now hes unsure of himself doing damage control with watered down singles like All Day.

He knew exactly what he was doing releasing that trash, Im sure he doesnt even like the song himself

nikka you literally sound drunk. the only turn up music he released recently was all day, and even he realized it wasnt the hit he thought it would be. but guess what? ye still gave it a try, because he's at the point in his career where he can get away with it.

All those interviews & rants after Yeezus bricked came across as him scrambling for relevancy, I wouldn't say he's finished but he knows his time at the top of the pyramid is done.

And for people talking that just one album shyt, the quality of Kanye's music has been declining consistently for over half a decade, his popularity even longer.
MBDTF > than 99% of albums released this decade
