I listened to the wolves podcast and they said Kat was pissed because ppl were critical of his defense (rightfully so btw) especially the two games Jimmy missed.

Saying KAT is behind those players isn't tearing him down, it's the truth. And we all know Jimmy is the leader of that team, not KAT, you remove Jimmy and his leadership + defense and that team would be the same place it was last year.
KAT has gotten marginally better on defense, he's still not very good, his DRPM is 66 out of 69 for centers in the league, the Wolves have a 114 defensive rating when he's on the floor, and over those last 6 games that you're talking about he gave up 67% at the rim
and they are 13th in the league defensively in those 6. Face it, everyone I named is a two way player, KAT for as good as he is on offense is by far the worst defender of those young dudes by a wide margin too.

I never understood why people had KAT over Embiid, Giannis, or Kristaps if all are healthy.
Those guys are taller than him and more athletic and have skill sets as good.
The defending the rim thing is a major issue. He a great player but he not a generational talent.
What has shocked me the most is how bad his defense is considering he was a really good college defender.
