This is the NBA, why do people hold MJ, Curry and Kobe as the minimum for being great in the playoffs :mjlol:

Also dude is in his what? 16th season in a team that lost 2 supermax, albeit also old and tired, players :russell:
Don't you know? If you don't win 5 rings, you might as well as been a plumber :troll:

:comeon:
He won the MVP by" holding" LeBron to:
28.2 pp
7.4 rp
4.0 ast
57% fg
51% 3pt

And game 3 where he scored 29..

He was the Spurs, GS Iggy when he won the FMVP
Nah he killed LeBron that series. That was a 1-1 series going back to Miami and Kawhi averaged 25 ppg over the last 3 games to close it out

LeBron couldn't hold him and he only put up numbers when the Heat were getting blown out

And at that point that's when SA had inserted Diaw and started to go bonkers offensively and from 3..

They had Miami just running around on the defensive end..it wasn't like it was Kawhi and LeBron duel..bucket for bucket..

Yeah but he was still the best player on the floor for the majority of that series. Miami couldn't do nothing with him

Hell he had a shot at Finals MVP the year before if the Spurs won, he balled out in both game 6 and 7.

If Zaza doesn't take him out he probably gets a chip in 2017, breh was showing his ass that postseason.

I think Kawhi is rated just fine when it comes to the playoffs imo

he is overrated. He had that good game against the Denver nuggets last year and the NBA media started creaming themselves, saying he is gonna go on a 2019 run

Every single year since 2020, people have been putting the clippers in contender category, and every year, some new team comes along and beats them, and they become an afterthought

Hell, people wrote off GSW after 2019, and they have gone on to win a chip this decade. Giannis, Jokic, and Shai have won chips. Anthony Edwards has led the TWolves to more conf finals than Kawhi has for the clippers (you can make the case the Kawhi hasn't led the clippers to any conf finals), and Anthony Edwards was drafted THIS decade! Luka has been to the finals, and smacked LAC on his way to getting there. Kawhi, for this whole decade, has either choked, underachieved, or gotten hurt. And that should go into consideration, same as his runs 2019, or 2017, or 2021

So yes, he is overrated as a playoff guy. The same way people shyt on Doc because he's done nothing since 2008, people need to keep that same energy with Kawhi post-2019. He's only won 2 playoff series in 6 years.

Yes

Every time Kawhi has a hot streak, its "kawhi is the best player in the league when healthy" "clippers might go on a run"

Yet, when Kawhi is healthy, like this year, and chokes... its either crickets or "injuries robbed his prime"

If KD (who is 37) played like this he'd get roasted

Bron up until the last 1-2 years would get roasted

No he wasn't in contention for the 2013 fmvp🤣🤣
Funny you say if they would have won..when his missed FT gave the Heat a shot in game 6 which they won and eventually won the title..

Him and Timmy were the 2 best players for the Spurs in Game 6 and 7. Manu played terribly, Tony was gassed by the end

22 and 10 in Game 6 and 18 and 16 in Game 7
