the responses in this thread, kendrick can do no wrongif this was any other rapper though.........
Kendricks been dropping features pretty consistently I thought. He was on Qs single, had the best verse on YGs album, the Spiderman song, on Szas tape, Ems album and other random shyt. Been touring constantly as well.
Ab Souls up next, hopefully Rock after that then Kenny can drop in the 4th Quarter. An album every 2 years is fine with me, let that boy cook.

Competition isn't about responding to nikkas. You compete with the quality of your work. Competition and conflict is not the same thing.
A nikka that took damn dear a decade to drop an album is no comp for a platinum artist with 2 modern classics under his belt.
Nah, competition IS about responding to people if you call rappers out. The public thought Papoose's response was the best, and Kendrick should have responded as an MC. To not do so looks weak to me. He started something, got destroyed in the diss then said nothing... That's not MC ethics. Ain't beef, just a battle, he looks crazy for saying all that shyt then not properly battling Pap. It can be music too of course, but direct competition isn't something that shouldn't be done too, it should be done sometimes, and that was one of those times.
