I thought there was a debate whether it was about Drake or Papoose, most people seemed to think it was Drake didn't they? So wouldn't say it's established.
Subliminal shyt is different, Pap was direct, Kendrick was indirect, maybe he don't want it with Pap? He seemed happy to name name's on control.
I among many others established that it was about Drake because who the fukk gives a shyt about Papoose
And the fact that Papoose wasn't na med and he took the most offense of the song is what's funny to some.
Kendrick named his peers and it wasn't a diss song to begin with. Papoose was offended by the King of New York line and the Muslim/Pork line.

Papoose is just like that, I don't think it's established as I've heard mostly people thinking it was for Drake. If Kendrick was that much better I don't see why he wouldn't just directly reply and crush the buildings but he didn't and came off looking weak in my opinion. I think most people thought it was the best version really. It would have been nice to see a little competitive lyrical battle, see who's won and that's it. But Kendrick didn't directly reply unfortunately for whatever reason. I didn't see the song as a diss either or caught no feelings from it, I saw it as wanting lyrical competition, that's why I was disappointed when the competition was brought directly to him and he didn't seem to want it. Maybe he will reply nearer his new album...

I actually dig how he's done things. Today's Hip Hop expects cats to be seen constantly, but this dude just dropped one of the best albums we've heard in ages. Most people would say it's a classic, so he's good on chillin' for a little awhile. I'd assume he's mappin' out the new joint. The expectations are wild high though, so I think he's gonna take his time on this next one.
