Is King’s Disease 3 first 5 songs the greatest 5 song stretch to start an album in recent memory?

KD3>>>>>No Fear Of Time

I’ll have to go back and listen to KD3 some more to give a fair assessment

I listened to it like 3 times since it was released

Meanwhile I’ve listened to no fear of time dozens of times

But again, I’ll have to go back and listen to KD3 so more to really give a fair comparison of the two albums

Talib was rapping like his LIFE depended on it throughout that whole album but Mos had some verses where he phoned it in. Nas was top to bottom lyrically perfect on KD3, he didn’t take not one verse off.

That plus I prefer KD3’s triumphant production over the more sober mood of No Fear Of Time

Talib was spitting

I feel like yasiin did his thing and was floating over the beats effortlessly. You can tell writing and rhyming comes so easy to him.

But I’ll definitely go back and listen to KD3 again

I can understand that and I loved the sober/vinyl basement anywhere on earth feel the production no fear of time has

Madlib beats feels like you’re taking a trip around the world in a matter of minutes
