Are these things people really think about though? So, a man might kiss his wife, a person bound to him by contract and vow, on the forehead without issue...but would take issue kissing the forehead of a person who he actually is in existence because of his seed? I'm asking in earnest...

Say for instance a man knew his son had a prognosis for an imminent death; my guess is he would not be burdened to think about something like this. Seems like questions one might have when he has too much time on his hands. Seems like whenever tragedy strikes in life, we start to see how ridiculous some of these sentiments truly are...time is ticking out for all of us.

Perfectly said! What are the bounds that make this out of line. BC when you think about it, you would give it all away to get those missed moments back , to be able to kiss your kids. Pause culture got nighas f'd up in the head.
