Except that for all this shade thrown at other superstars for "teaming up" and how they couldn't "win on their own," no superstar has ever had less success "on their own" than Kobe Bryant. While LeBron was winning 60+ games, going to the Finals, and getting Mike fukking Brown COTY awards with a roster that was barely better than the Smush/Kwame years Kobe was struggling to make the Playoffs and getting bounced in the 1st.
Dude has never done anything that even remotely resembled winning without having dominant big men gifted to him.

How would a Pippen or some other star perimeter player help Kobe? You think he was going to camp out in the corner and wait for the ball to get passed to him?
Kobe preferred to have the ball every time down the court and he preferred to isolate one on one. He got that because he usually had a lame duck fakkit point guard that camped in the corner and some big men underneath that could score off his passes and his bricks. Having another perimeter scorer would have just taken away shot opportunities. You picture Kobe just getting left open in the corner while Pippen draws triple teams while ignoring that It wouldn't happen and that Kobe hated taking open shots anyway.
