Sccit, why you got to be such an idiot about Kobe? Kobe ended his career almost 5000 points shy of Kareem's record.
In Kobe's rookie year he scored 539 points, partly because he only shot 41.7% and partly because he only played 15 minutes/game.
In Kobe's 2nd year he scored 1200 points, upping his shooting to 42.8% and his playing time to 26 minutes/game.
Kobe was already logging 38 minutes/game by his third season, averaging 19.9ppg.
So the only seasons you can add serious minutes to are his 1st/2nd seasons. And even if he scored 2000 points in each season, he still would be 2,500 away from Kareem's record. And Kobe didn't score 2000 points in a season until his FIFTH season in the league.
But there's no way Kobe was scoring 2000 points in his rookie year anyway, shooting as inefficiently as he did. He scored 500 points on 6 shots/game shooting 41.7%....he would need 24 shots/game as a rookie to hit 2000, and you know his shooting efficiency would get even WORSE if he shooting 24 times instead of 6.
You're so bad when it comes to facts.
