Is KRS One's song "13 and Good" the reason why he supports Afrika Bambattaa?

Was gonna say too the second they utter a sentence you should know something is fishy. Still, it does happen occassionaly enough with dudes being oblivious.

Have to ask though, Bambatty boy isnt convicted, but the sh!t dont look good. Still, why is Star getting personal with this? I might be missing some of the in between but Star went from exposing Bam to going at KRS and he looks corny to me now. Admittedly I'm not a fan of Star, wouldnt mind an oppurtunity to break his glasses.

Well it's a more like a "In Hindsight" type of thing. KRS One caping for Bambatty when the irony is that he made this song, so it looks like he could be covering up for something illegal he might have did

Nah, some of y'all are oversimplifying a very complicated matter.

I swear you young nikkas make "1984" seem more and more like pure prophecy, everyday.

KRS's whole public existence is due to Afrika Bambaataa.

KRS loves hip hop culture more than anybody, and Afrika Bambaataa is his biggest hero and influence in the culture.

So it's going to be hard for a 50 something year old to distance himself from his hero, who's guided his thoughts and actions, culturally, for the last 40 years, because of some internet videos.

I'm sure KRS is dealing with a variety of emotions due to the allegations, but he's not going to publicly distance himself from Bambaataa until everything comes out.

And even then, he may distance himself privately but remain silent publicly.

If he did automatically distance himself from Afrika Bambaataa, at the first sight of trouble with him, I would've lost a lot of respect for him as a man.

As far as the song goes, 13 and Good comes from a BDP album named Sex & Violence.

The theme of the album was to discuss some of the negative effects of Sex & Violence on the community.

13 and Good was a story rap, made to warn dudes about girls who lie about their age, and get dudes caught up, done in a humorous manner.

Anybody that actually listens to the record would understand this.

It's a damn shame that a legend like KRS, who gave everything for the development of this culture, has to receive this type of slander from nikkas like you.
