Police Chief said most resources in the city are dealing with the protests. Basically says they’re spread thin and can only respond to the most serious of calls.

They aren't overwhelmed.

They're gonna let them tear shyt up, with Mexican flags waving, and they're gonna broadcast it. Get the country riled up to support mass deportation.

What’s funny is today wasn’t even over a large area like it was yesterday.

Yesterday’s protests were spread over multiple cities and a much larger area here in LA but were far less destructive and costly than today’s. If protestors really wanted to they could really make it ugly and an absolute nightmare logistically.

Edit: protestors started another fire.

Did you go to one where this happened? Yes there are whites causing damage but most of the large damage comes after the cops escalate. I'm saying this from experience from going to these kind of protests, not YouTube videos
No, I did not go. I didn't do protests after undergrad, which was 1993.

Also, so are you implying that the main damage being done was by Black Americans? Even when Black Americans in that video were asking White people to stop doing damage, you are saying Black Americans were the main culprits?

I vote, in every election.

Thats already more than these people do during these protest, where they tear shyt up then go home and vote for the wrong team, if they vote at all.

They voted for this, we didn't.
Aww "I vote" yeah bro I've voted in every election (even all off year, and special elections), I've participated in political campaigns to get people elected, and have been to these protests where police been violent and I still haven't done enough. Thinking doing the bare minimum by voting is anything like what black people who put their bodies on the line is laughable delusional. Stop reading about these protests online and go to one and you will see racial/gender/class solidarity that doesn't reflect what you see online

Yeah we've seen them go harder than this, today was light work.

Don't be surprised if we see a couple masked men leaving brick pallets on location. We know how this goes.

:russ:That the :mjpls:justice system/prison industrial complex it been putting in work on us for years:francis: it fukk up what happen to these people but it like damn they have already been attack us years now .

One person even stated along the lines of, We are next. They may not deport us, but they can strip us of due process!

Like we have not been dealing with not receiving due process since the inception of it in this country. It is amazing how little some of our people know what is going on in the present.

If they hadn't voted for Trump, they wouldn't be dealing with this right now.

Don't bullshyt me like voting doesn't matter, but standing around setting shyt on fire and busting windows outta people's cars does.

They voted for this, majority voted for Trump.

No I'm saying that property violence comes from the cops being able to assult people while the people cannot attack back. Then there is property damage as people start lashing out.

If you weren't too afraid to go to BLM protests where cops are violent you would see that they aren't 100% black and are very diverse, the violence could come from any race but it stems from the police violence.
