Jerry Rice is the all-time leader in Receiving Yards with 22,895.
Larry Fitzgerald is 2nd with 17,083

Rice appeared in 303 games over his career while Fitzgerald sits at 250.

Fitzgerald is unlikely to keep playing in order to catch Rice (he will turn 37 on August 30th...and Rice played until he was 42).

That said, the body of work that Larry has built up is now to the point where you have to consider him among the best to ever do it...if not perhaps the best, considering the teams he has had to carry and the level of quarterbacks and coaches he has had overseeing him.

Is Larry Fitzgerald underrated, even as great as he is?

After Rice Moss and Owens he's the next man up in the greatest ever convo if you ask me. He's got the stats and the longevity and has played a majority of his career with some trash at quarterback. He may not get his just due like he should cause he's not as flashy as some but the real fans know how great Fitz was at his best .

I tell everyone this. If I need a 1st down that's 3rd and 10..its Larry Fitz over any WR alltime.
He has the best Coordination of any WR ever. His Ball skills when in the air are 2nd to none. He has the most reliable hands in history and is a 'ball hawk.'

i think most people would consider him a hall of fame WR, so nah.

he ain't a champion. that's on him for deciding to ride out his whole career with a WOAT franchise. if he wanted to have a greater legacy he shoulda seen the writing on the wall a long time ago. :yeshrug:
