Jordan developed a midrange

We will wait and see what Lebron does
LeBron is a better 3 point shooter than Jordan ever was. LeBron will not waste his time developing a mid range game. His post game is not elite, but he has his athleticism and court vision to diminish the impact of that flaw in his game.

LeBron James is the GOAT

He taken more threes than Jordan in his career so that argument is null.

The same reason why Shaq isn't considered an elite scorer
Yes, dumb ass logic. It doesn't make sense. You can't say someone isn't an elite scorer when they're top five, top ten, in scoring ALL TIME. That's just dumb as shyt. What you're really saying is I don't like the way he scores, it's not pretty/versatile enough for me.

A lot of intangibles (ease of schedule, league trends, conference, Piston/Mark Cuban rules, etc.).

I definitely think Lebron is sustaining his prime at a rate similar to Jordan.

I still have never seen a better scorer than prime Kobe though. Dude was bound to go off for something special any night and you could at least expect 23 points because dude had nobody to pass it to.

It's kind of like a Shaq/Hakeem vs Kareem comparison. I need to win this year, maybe go for a 3 peat: Kobe/Hakeem/Shaq/Dirk (not necessarily by position). Long term dynasty competitive every year: Kareem/Magic/Jordan/Lebron/Duncan.

Pop even had to tell his players to :whoa::
Popovich watched the Lakers victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night, including

Kobe Bryant's 18-point fourth quarter that followed a trash-talking contest with Rockets defensive ace Ron Artest.

His players, he said, knew better than to antagonize Bryant.

“We don't want any Artest stuff,” he said before tipoff. “Don't even look him in the eye."

Popovich spoke about Bryant's fourth-quarter performance in Houston in reverential tones.

“I had the sense the whole game he was just biding his time,” Popovich said. “He was checking out what needed to be done, as he does so well — picking his spots and keeping everybody involved, and when the time came and it was real close, he just buried some shots that were incredible.

“He just took over and ‘boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.'

“Incredible.”

The Spurs coach compared Bryant favorably to Bulls great Michael Jordan.

“A lot of guys can play their whole career and they can't pick their spots and know what's going on out on the court,” he said. “He's a special player. He's like Michael in that sense. He understands everything that's going on and what's needed to go win, and he has the ability to do it in so many different ways, whether it's defense, or a board, or an assist or a shot or a drive.

“That's why he is who he is.”

TMac is up there. Not on the same level as Kobe from 05 to 07 though.

2005-2006 season was unreal: 81, outscoring the Mavs by himself after 3 quarters, 40+ points 27 times. Still pissed he didn't play the whole Dallas game.

2007: 4 straight 50 point games (with two 60+ during that stretch), 18 games with 40+.

Nearly a 1/3 of his games you could expect dude to hit 40+ points over that two year stretch.
