Is the colis hate for Durant the reason he's not being mentioned?

His last 8 seasons he's shooting 50% and is averaging 28ppg. 4x scoring champ. He should be in the conversation.

Going with MJ though.
10x scoring champ
211 40+ games
39 50+ games
5 60+ games
.50% shooting for his career.
Post up, can fade over either shoulder, pull up, catch and shoot, off the dribble, finishes at the cup all at the most elite level. Struggled on the three ball though

It's dumb because you don't like it. You can't call yourself an elite scorer if a team can neutralize you by forcing you to shoot. That's dumb ass logic to me. If you were elite, nothing should stop your offense.

Wilt, Kareem, Jordan, and Malone were all elite scorers, and none of them made threes at a regular clip either.

Besides, when was the last time someone neutralized Lebron? You still talking shyt from 5+ years ago? That's like saying "Kobe's never won one as top dawg" when it's 2012.

:mjlol:

You stop Kobe by putting 3 people on him

Ain't no one ever guarding Kobe like that. :dead:

:dead: at Kobe NOT being doubleteamed by Boston. Expose yourself brehs.

To claim that ANY team has "3 defenders on a player on most plays" is beyond stupid. Detroit didn't win by triple-teaming Kobe, NO ONE can actually win that way. Detroit won by fukking with Kobe's head and getting him to break the offense...

Who the hell said that Kobe wasn't double-teamed by Boston? This isn't the lazy man-to-man coverage era. EVERY elite scorer, and even a lot of other players, are double-teamed and shaded in a lot of situations. It's what the zone allows for you.

You said it right here, smart one.

Now you backtracking. First its....Nobody double teamed Kobe Bryant. Five seconds later. Of course people double teamed Kobe Bryant.

Shut up nikka.

You lie on me, you get negged. I ain't never said nobody doubled-teamed Kobe. Stand down with this bullshyt.

My first comment was that Kobe was getting triple teamed and double teamed.

Then you said "Ain't no one ever guarding Kobe like that".

Now you lying and backtracking like a fakkit after I posted videos of the Finals I was referring to........if you weren't trying to imply that Kobe never got double and triple teams, than why did you write that :aicmon: and what was the fukking point of you even quoting me? :aicmon:

God damn, weirdo, the exact sequence of quotes is right above. Your first claim was THREE people, you switched it to double-teaming later.

You stop Kobe by putting 3 people on him :mjpls:

You stop Lebron by stacking the paint :russ:

Ain't no one ever guarding Kobe like that. :dead:

Spurs were the masters of stacking the paint against Lebron, AND they had Kawhi, and still couldn't stop him in 2013.

In the 2016 Finals, you had brothers in here arguing that it wasn't fair because any time that Golden State didn't have Iggy AND Draymond AND Bogut available simultaneously, it was just too easy for Lebron to go off on them.

:whew:

You a clown. Detroit had 3 defenders on Kobe on most plays. That's why LA lost because he refused to pass. Boston would double and triple team Kobe over and over in 2008 and 2010. LeBron wasn't making the Finals back then so you probably didn't watch.

I've been watching basketball since the 1980s. I was stanning Clyde Drexler before he'd even made the playoffs.

Chauncey Billups: Our game plan was very calculated. We knew we were going to play Shaq straight-up. We knew there was no way we could stop Shaq straight-up. And there was also no way we could stop Kobe straight-up. But, if we’re going to play Shaq straight-up, [the Lakers’] eyes are going to get big, which means they’re going to keep throwing it down there. We’re telling Ben the whole time, “Take fouls when you need to, but don’t get yourself into foul trouble. You need to give up a layup, cool, we’re going to get what we want on the other side.” But what’s going to happen is Mr. Bryant is going to get a little discouraged with getting no touches and now the second half comes around…now he’s pressing. He’s going to start coming down and just breaking the offense. When you do that, you’re done—you’re playing right into our hands. Even if you start making those shots, you’re finished.

Hell, when Lebron made his game-winning layup in double overtime against the Pistons in 2007, he literally had 5 guys within a step of him when he made the shot.

It doesn't mean they leaving two guys open to triple-team you all game. :heh:

The most impressive thing about LeBron's scoring ability is the fact that dude does not give a fukk about scoring. He is truly a pass first player. If he had Kobe's chucking mentality god knows what kind of totals he'd put up.

his scoring is based off size and athleticism, not off the art of scoring as far as footwork, shooting, post work. he scores efficiently but its not graceful.
Do the points count less because he's not "graceful"?

And if his scoring is just based off of size and athleticism, then why isn't Blake Griffin leading the league in points right now? Why isn't Deandre Jordan getting 30 a game? Shawn Kemp should be the all-time leading scorer.

Nah, it's dumb because the logic is literally idiotic.

"Forcing" LeBron to shoot lost the Spurs a title.

Great scorer in terms of longevity but he is not elite game scorer like a Kobe MJ.

:mjlol: Even as all the records of their favorite legends fall before their eyes..haters are becoming more confused...disgruntled...hostile...senile... continuing to deny Lebron greatness to their graves
