In the 80's a high volume scorer shooting 50% wasn't out the norm. Entire teams shot 50% in the 80's. There were no zones, less athletic players, awful transition defense, higher pace, more FT attempts leaguewide.

LBJ, Melo, Kobe, Durant, etc. would put up better %'s then.

That's bullshyt. How many players during that era scored over 30ppg in multiple seasons and still shot over 50% from the field.

Hell, KD let melo have one he only needed to score like 15 points to get it one year and he decided not to play in like 2 games

The other year he missed out on scoring champ was the foot injury year, and westbrook won it that year so really he probably would've had 6 already
