For me Plies was the closest thing to Pac in his prime musically..

as I grew older I realized that wuz immature and I openly aknlowedged pacs talent
So don't get me twisted with these young dudes my nikka I grew up on this shyt, I wuz around when all this shyt unfolded, I still remember reading tha vibe issue when pac wanted out of thug life, I thought he had a lot of wise real shyt to say in that article when it came out, then he went to death row and we know tha rest of tha story
I'm just saying for this generation do y'all think boosie is tha closest thing
while different content wise has similar media and social presence with this generation and how he embodies the audience post-gangsta rap, which is really much more of qualifier for "next 2pac" than just having similar content. It's not tha content, and it's not tha rhyming styleNo, no no...you can't compare the nikka to pac just because he talks about "struggle" and hood shyt, it's one of the reasons you can't compare anybody to pac because you are only gonna be able to get one or maybe two aspects of what he brings (he's in cuba) to the table as an artist, as an icon, as a person.
If you saying that his content is heartfelt and street oriented and authentic, cool, say that, but he's not the new 2pac and he definitely wouldn't be the first person that I would compare.
Young Buck and Freddie Gibbs actually have deliveries and skill sets reminiscent of pac, Kanyewhile different content wise has similar media and social presence with this generation and how he embodies the audience post-gangsta rap, which is really much more of qualifier for "next 2pac" than just having similar content.
