Wayne's career predates Cash Money's Universal deal...True Story came out in '95 and Get it How U Live dropped in '97, which had regional relevance at best...so I don't think he qualifies for that distinction...he's on the shortlist of rappers with the longest duration of relevance longevity wise though, first solo album went platinum in '99 and has a top 5 selling gold rap album in 2013
