I don't wanna say he a fraud because I'm not sure what he is trying to be.....

But his shyt don't sound sincere or like it's coming from a real place.... And that goes for his music, videos, interviews, etc... He can definitely rap, but whenever I hear something from him I tend to forget about it and never revisit it.

He's from the same town as Wale, but still talks different...went to the same school, etc.
Son hung out with cacs and lived in a very safe part of a very safe suburb. Not even what could be considered the "hood" of Gaithersburg. Somebody had some money, that company paid for promo, he got a lil help from a breh of mine on the rap/beats tip...and here we are today.
A Drake-esque assembly line version of Kendrick and J Cole...He did some shows w/ Phil Ade...and the association was what got him kinda known in the dmv...phil ade still there. Posters on the metro bus.

Who really cares if Logic is a fraud? The 3 biggest rappers in modern hip hop, Drake, J Cole and Rubber Ducky, are massive frauds in their own corny ways. Depending on the type of cornball you are, you'll overrate their work as anything more than mediocre.

Everyone who had it rough growing up isnt some sort of thug acting like they know the ins and outs of the hood and he doesn't even come close to coming off that way so I don't even see the point in the thread. He pretty much tells you on the first album what he's about and the drug issues in his family. I swear a lot of yall seem to not associate with people who don't look like yall or have different life experiences from your own. All poor people don't look a certain way or have to be a "certain color".

Come on. I know his background. Did he grow up in the slums? No, but Deer Park isn't "Very safe". You got a lot of suburban crackheads, section 8 and knuckleheads around there. Logic didn't have no damn money.. he worked at Joe's Crab Shack and was damn near homeless for awhile. Wale went to Quince Orchard High School and Logic went to Gaithersburgh High. Two different schools and Quince Orchard is way more "upscale".
