Older successful rappers need to learn to stop trying to fit in with what's hot and just stick to their shyt that they know. That's why mainstream rap careers on average only last 1 to 5 years... and you gotta be an underground rapper to "be true" as an artist.. everyone just wants to fit in to sell albums.

I think that "beef" between him, Drake and Big Sean.. got to his ego. Like he saw these young guys callin him out, he roasted them and now he's willing to do anything he can to make a hit and save face.. because they wouldn't respond.

Judging by this single it sounds like Luda wants to make his very own version of Lasers

This is what DMX be talking about. Rappers tryna be something that they not. All that fist pumping, cow-a-bunga screaming, glow sticks flinging music is not meant to be in Rap.

I'm all for Rap evolving, but; you gotta do Rap. This is dance, trance music. This sounds like Usher's new direction and Luda just hopped on the track.

A lot of dudes 20-25 grew up with Luda. He was one of the mainstream rappers you knew had real talent. And say by 12-16 when you really got into hip-hop you could still listen and respect Luda because of the talent.

There's a few of us that want Luda to win. But this right here is a Loss. A loss for Ludacris. A loss for everyone that loved his great singles and guest features.

Luda is 12 years in though. He's always been at worst a B-list rapper. At a point in time you can see yourself slipping down the totem pole and you fight back. This is it. And it's a fail.

Most underground rappers slip into obscurity within 5 years too.

lmao white girl money...:krs:

shiit,they do support theyre artists......actualy buyin cd's and shyt....posters

Biggest myth ever. Katty Perry had 5 #1 's and did less than Drake. Pop music sells singles but no albums, rappers need to stay in their own lane.

Yea, he sold out. You can't really blame him tho. How many rap albums have you purchased this year? :comeon:

Luda used to routinely sell 2-3 million per album. Now he's lucky to go gold. Hip Hop's the only genre where the consumers dont support the artists then get mad when they stop making music targeted towards them. Its like nikkas never supporting movies like Miracle at St. Anna or Red Tails then getting mad when there's no more black films. shyt is fukking retarded :why: If Luda felt he could still make money making records like "Stand Up", he would but, he knows, like we all know, none of yall cheap ass nikkas is going to FYI to buy his shyt :stopitslime:
