The real problem with Edge headlining is that he went in way too early because of his career ending neck injury. He looks out of place with the current crop because many of his peers are still wrestling. They could have waited 4-5 years and put him in.

even when his era goes in, hes still doesnt deserve to be a headliner. he was pushed like one tho, and thats all that matters with newer fans. so it doesnt even matter.

The original topic wasn't if Edge deserved to headline. It was how does he stack up to Luger since you said Luger could have headlined over some of the guys that are currently in there. My point was that Edge is better than Luger n multiple facets of entertainment (regardless of push or booking)

Yeah, Luger deserves to go in. He was definitely over for the majority of his career and has turned his life around.

The WWF shyt didn't work because even if the decision was to turn him face and be the top guy, the Hogan-lite angle wasnt the way to go. It was destined to not live up to expectation cause Hogan was an icon. Luger had to play straight cheeseball for months, wearin Cosby sweaters and wishing us a Happy Thanksgiving with his wife & kids sittin by the fire. A guy like that wasn't gonna stay over for long, even in the family-friendly WWF days of the early '90s. And of course by the time Vince realized this it was too late, and Luger was ready to roll out.

He deserves a spot in the HOF tho', definitely. Especially since the HOF isn't WWE-exclusive anymore, so his run there doesn't really count against him.
