Congratulations, you have graduated from one of the most terrible, sub-standard school systems in the entire world. You have just spent the last . . . 12 years receiving one of the worst educations on earth. You are at least four, five steps behind people in other countries.

That had to have hurt everyone's soul. shyt is true and real as fukk, though. Public education is generally and seriously an abomination and probably a big reason for the persistent poverty in places like Chicago. but these kids for at least one day of their fukking 12 years of education deserve to be commended for their efforts, for trying to stay out of trouble and passing all their classes. this speech is borderline disgusting and you commending this? now if the speech had a different tone when he said it, then forgive me but when read on paper this sounds atrocious. why must you try and ruin 150 grads day by saying their education wasn't shyt because you are mad as a whole at the CPS system, your city, and your people?


i know he was trying to probably inspire them, but these are the kids with the brightest futures from in your neighborhood. you don't have to sugarcoat it, but don't take a shyt on their accomplishments
