I have never been into mad max as a series so this was gonna be a skip for me.
After very strong word of mouth I checked it out. I really did like it. Like others mentioned it's beautiful to look at and the action - in particular the motorcycle scene was pure piff.

The movie had no real story, plot was lacking, and very limited dialogue. Yea the action and cinematography was great but it wasn't great enough to overshadow those issues.My expectations for the movie was way to high when I first saw. Once it ended, I was like, is that it?

It's just lazy. Go into detail as to why you didn't like the movie.
I think people have though, including warhols post this thread is based on.
Visually it's great but if we are being real that's where it stops being GOAT. Was the dialogue next level, no. Was the plot next level, no. It basically is a long as car chase and the as mentioned earlier the excuse that you have to just take it for what it is, is flimsy. I guess Harold and Kumar is GOAT if you just take it for what it is too right
It's a beautifully shot film with a good score that was heralded as a GOAT film when it's not
I think some are taking it wrongly. People (for the most part) are saying its overrated not that it's trash or not enjoyable.

the Raid is dope. Mad Max is honestly boring. Gave me no reason to care about any character until half way through and by then i had already realized the film wasnt for me personallyI bet these same people were watching The Raid like:
