Thats fukked up. I see grocery store managers walking around like theyre the man :mjlol:
In Atlanta, grocery store managers make 100k. Assistant store managers make 80-ish.

You're doing well, if you're a department manager too.

Pro tip: Those managers are smashing the attractive employees. A lot of those girls see you looking good and confident, making good money...

You can make connections with contractors and vendor companies and move on if you're good at networking.

It's not my path, but it's a valid option.

Of mediocrity :mjlol:

Where else do people that aint shyt, get to harass young impressionable people all day? Store managers got people like @DrX about to lose their damn minds..

People that let that shyt go to their ego are NOT the type of people i ever allow in my life. Dont worry yall... Ima piss off your managers for you :demonic:

You do make a valid point about managers letting their ego get to them but I'm sure that happens in all types of companies. It's all a matter of how you run things. Some harass their employees while others develop them. That's the difference between a manager and a leader. DrX just seems like a miserable fukk so of course it's gonna be difficult to work with him. They gotta know how to hire the right people. Sure it's minimum wage employees but they responsible for earning your profits. Can't be letting no lazy slackers work there that won't help you make money. I cringe whenever my manager hires someone that sucks. And he seems to be good at finding them. Some suck for their entire run, others slowly start to improve. But i be like :snoop:, I gotta work with this motherfukker tonight. :martin:

What's also bad is those that move up the ladder and think they the shyt. Or those that get new responsibilities also. Got one just like that at work. We be like, motherfukker you weren't talking all this high and mighty foolishness a month ago.

Hate micromanagement. Some just abuse their power. My manager gets like that most of the time. But I have learned from him so I can be a better leader if i ever get to that level. But as far as your point goes, sometimes you gotta be tough on those that need it more in order to get results. There's money to be made and you can't afford to fukk around with people that don't have a positive attitude or work ethic. No matter what business you in.

Yes you are talking about higher up people who manage the stores not just the regular managers who run the day-to-day shifts

Was just thinking this last night. I remember years ago when i was struggling to find a job and i applied to this taco bell. I was about halfway through with my college degree at that time, so obviously, it wasn't a career choice or anything. I called the store manager and asked him about getting a job and this retard goes 'i don't know, i'm very picky about who i hire.' :stopitslime:Mufukka, it's taco bell! Who the fukk do you think is applying here to begin with? Really made me question what type of loser you had to be to even say some shyt like that. But a lot of these people in these types of jobs start overvaluing their positions and what they do, i think to make them feel better about the fact that they aren't really doing anything in life.

I'm very picky :russ: but I bet the food prep area looked like Tijuana up in that bytch
