So out of thousands of posts.. one post was "all these people" ... alright man. Listen.. they've had a few recent flops and underperformances. it happens. They'll probably rebound with X-Men or maybe when BP2 drops
i think people are forgetting them Thor 2 struggle days of the MCU. And i think people were thinking EndGame how every movie would be going forward with the whole squard having 45 minute long wars. You're right about them rebounding. These movies aren't meant to stand alone, but people are acting like a movie like Eternals was supposed to a one off of something. And as i've said in the Film Room, people are complaining because they are using these Phase 4 shows/movies to explain shyt to them, which is 100% necessary. You have people in here still not understanding that The Scarlet Witch was corrupted by the DarkHold at the end of her show, yet people are like "they went away from how she was in WandaVision". There are going to be people that skipped Eternals that are going to be saying "they need to explain who these people are and what is this big Robot Thing in sky...and where did Dane Whitman get that sword from".

Sorry for the long post, but i think we probably agree more than we disagree. But the main point is the MCU has to do these explanation movies to big to the bigger overarching stories.

The Truth
Thor will be aight.

But other than that, I’m not really interested in what they’re putting out but i blame Disney for being soft af…

But Black Panther, Deadpool 3, GOTG, etc will get watched regardless.

And they’re supposedly making a Dr. Doom movie.

Main issue to me right now is that there’s no real Thanos level threat.

Is it really official though? Outside of Loki has he been referenced elsewhere? I woulda thought they would've made some kind of reference in Dr Strange 2 as hyped as thar movie was

They mentioned incursions in 'Multiverse Of Madness" which are a part of the "Secret Wars" arc.

Kang is most likely going to replace Beyonder as the main villain. Otherwise there's no reason to introduce him.

dr. pym / ant-man / giant-man / wasp-creator / ulltron-creator / yellow-jacket

and one of the smartest heroes in all of marvel along with iron man, reed, banner, cho, doom

you can't be serious.

Nobody gave a fukk about Ant-Man. I'm dead serious.

Ant-Man? You gotta be trolling right now. :mjlol:

Hell, nobody gave a fukk about The Avengers, period. It was X-Men and the mutant related comics.

Like i said, there's a reason nobody cared enough to get those cinematic rights.

Her use of the Darkhold was shown for a few seconds in a post credits scene, breh. The fact that so many people missed it is bad writing. It needed better explaination.

I can't say I agree when the MCU's entire gimmick is post-credit scenes. :mjlol:

MCU used to make real, solid movies

After the first wave of Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America they went OD with the jokes and OD with the not really filling plots after Endgame

They literally never made "real, solid" movies breh. :mjlol:

They been popcorn/fluff entertainment since day 1. Some ("The Winter Soldier", etc.) are better than others but at the end of the day they're just comic movies.

They just been doing the same formula for so long some of you are tired of it. Which is fine. But "No Way Home" did $1.9 billion and "MoM" did $950 million.

Love it or hate it but MCU ain't going nowhere. :manny:

Meanwhile I actually said Pym. Hank Pym

Hell, nobody gave a fukk about The Avengers, period. It was X-Men and the mutant related comics.

blame saturday morning cartoon "wolvie is better than cyclops" watchers :mjlol:and toy buyers for that.

you lames thought cap was rubbish .. until you got educated.

remember Yellow Jacket (albeit twisted version) took out everyone in What IF

Like i said, there's a reason nobody cared enough to get those cinematic rights.

Fred.

@hex bredrin the top hero version of hank pym was yellow jacket. yellow jacket was badass. that was closely followed by giant man.

pym was a troubled genius in much the way stark is but even more so.

they stole that shine and gave it to RDJ.

some background for those that don't know.

You're setting up yourselves for disappointment if you think there's gonna be another Infinity War type saga as they've already said there won't be any big story arcs such as that one. Allegedly.
