I think he is to some extent, but the public perception of him is what really hurt him.

If your little "rap beef" is suddenly a topic of conversation on daytime television, latenight television, sports coverage, let alone corporate shills on social media using it for promo...that will do MAJOR damage to your brand. People that never cared about him, or Hip Hop in general, are using him as a talking-point to sound "hip". Meek Mill became synonymous with "L"

Meek is also painfully stubborn and made it worse by bragging about his money, how real he is and losing his cool on social media, rather than keeping a level-head and sticking to the facts of Drake not writing his own shyt

The % of people who care if you write your own shyt is very low. We're on a hip hop forum so it's going to be disproportionately high, but do you think 90% of people at Drake shows care if he wrote it? He is a pop star, not a rappity rapper.

No one cares that Kanye has writers.

No one bumps Still DRE like "damn you know Dre aint write this"

Meek losing his cool like dude above said is sticking in peoples minds much more.

To be fair the corporate shills are overrated, those are 25 year old "social media managers" just hopping on a wave.

Meek just got rolled over in that respect

Maybe. I think that sadly they have a lot of influence though. There's tons of proof whether its Brexit, or Donald Trump, or marketing in general...people like to parrot back whatever they are told and run with it. They don't have enough time or will to give a shyt and look into it deeper. Basically Drake's fanbase for the most part. That will ultimately hurt Meek's career unless he can really deliver hits, which he hasn't been doing....

I could give a fukk about drake or meek mill

From my own humble point of view... this nikka meek aint nuttin but trouble. I think fame got to his head n he started believing his own hype.

By his actions he aint someone trust worthy... from tellin nicki safaree was cheatin on her, to tryin to expose drake cuz he aint tweet his fukkin album, to the beanie segal shyt...

He's the type a nikka that gets everyone into some shyt in the hood n then runs n hides like a bytch

N it aint like i fukk with drake either cuz even tho i like some of the music hes put out i cant stand him with his fake ass either

Dude why do you have jay z lips in your avi :scust:
