Lil Uzi Vert is the most popping artist out of Philly..

Lil Uzi Vert is chanted songs all by himself

Tekashi is out here charting songs all by himself...

Meek Mlll can't do that...
A crowd of thousands chanted his intro acapella.

The Super Bowl champs came out to his song.

(Edit: BEFORE THEY WON THE GAME BTW)

If those 2 things don't persuade you, I cede the point, sir.

Stupid post:snoop:

How is he not making noise when he had 14 songs hit the Hot 100, Litty had the clubs on fire, he's loved in his city....even the Governor is on his side, the streets fukk with him, the ladies fukk with him, and he's respected by the East Coast legends?:dahell:

Respect?? Sheeeeeiiiitt Jay and Beyoncé EACH shouted Meek out in a song, and they don't shout anyone out. If that isn't respect then I don't know what these niqqas mean.

as far as the streets yeah, and his influence is underrated. you can hear a lot of meek in these up coming rappers in Brooklyn.

of course, its Meek.
he gets love in NY like that where he's from but like i've been saying for years. he has no real competition.

thats no knock to Meek..its like when Fab ran NY for a few year unopposed.
only competition he had was Vado & Cam in 2010 and then after it French.

who's supposed to replace Meek ? Dave East....? no chance.
he doesn't give people that motivation, that pain, that feeling like Meek gives people.

i'm sure if they wanted to someone could make an argument for French.
but he doesn't have the influence of Meek or the male groupies Meek has (i haven't seen make groupies like his since Dipset)

Wins & Losses is the one good project listed in the OP that i'm a fan of though. underrated album.
one that actually stayed in rotation longer that a few weeks. his best since DC2

If you mean the traditional "hip-hop east coast" meaning upper northeast (Maryland and above)...yes

If you mean the literal "east coast", including Georgia, then its Future

Traditional breh. Georgia is the South.

Future is the King of The South
Meek is the King of The East
Kendrick is the King of the West
Big Sean is King of the Midwest (Kanye should be, but he dont write his own music)
