Should Meth be saying he interpolated all those different songs? Labels are always down to go after publishing when sample snitches unearth long kept secrets.
It might not be the smartest thing, but I think he's probably safe at this point due to a variety of factors.

I know there's no statute of limitations, but I still just think the odds of anyone caring as much about that after all this time is lower. Everyone owning that music is older, ownership may even be up in the air or harder to determine. They're probably not likely to see this clip, or will be more likely to not care if they do. Less money to go after these days than 20-30 years ago.

I just think it'd be way more risky of he said this in 99, you know?

Yeah you're probably right, it's not like labels are watching podcasts the way the feds are lol, it's probably unlikely word would get back to any pub holders about a one off story on a podcast

Yeah that's true, Michael Jackson owned the Beatles catalog so who knows who's in charge of it now
