Would you be good with a SB at Lambeau then? That'd be a terrible idea.

SB in Green Bay, WI? :dwillhuh:

They don't have the capacity to do it. There's nothing up there

I'm just looking forward to the sick ass NY Super Bowl parties that's going to take place.

Someone is going to die at one of them, but I don't care. It's going to be hot.

i gotta disagree :manny:

I think the only negative to having it in GB is the fact that it's not tourist friendly.. Aside from that, if it was okay to have playoff games in Chicago or Buffalo or Pittsburgh, etc.. then it's okay to have the SB there too.

Next year will be interesting -- future SB locations will be determined based on its success/failure.

Having playoff games in Chicago Buffalo and Pittsburgh is mandatory because of earned HFA. There's no other option. You can't move the AFC CG to a dome unless a dome team is already the home team.

SB NFL gets a choice on where to play it. What's the point of intentionally choosing a place that has a high likelihood of having poor conditions?

Apple and Oranges.

I'm talking about the weather.

Its a great idea, I like the fact there won't be a halftime show :win:

It will feel more like a normal football game, also would be interesting to see the ratings without a halftime show...

This.

And to be honest, for the real football fan, the conference championship games are much better football to watch imo. The elation of winning that game(not that I'd know) is much more for the diehard fan as opposed to the SB at a neutral site.

Ya man when the Colts won the AFC CG against the Jets then lost to the Saints I was so excited.

I totally disagree with this theory.

I can't stand domes. I don't get why places like Atlanta and New Orleans get to have domes when Chicago and Green Bay play outside? fukk is the logic behind that?

That humidity ain't no joke :pachaha:

As for the SB being in cold weather if its a sloppy game with tons of dropped passes, slipping and etc it'll kill the chances of northern teams getting it. If the weather turns out clear then more places will get a shot.
When the SB got bigger and became the biggest spectacle in sports than it became a vacation. And who wants to vacation in the north during winter. Too much shyt and delays.

I totally disagree with this theory.

If you have a conference champ game at home there's absolutely nothing like it...

The 2000 Giants Vikings game was unbelievable at the Meadowlands

:heh: if you a Giants fan

Vikings didn't even score

Its about celebrating your team going to the SB with the entire fanbase at the Stadium. NOTHING tops that in sports as a fan. That game was a 60 minute party.

I totally disagree with this theory.

I agree with him in the fact that the atmosphere is much better in afc or nfc title games as opposed to super bowls

Where i disagree is as a fan the super bowl is the ultimate if your teams in it..

If youre just a huge NFL fan and your team isnt in the suiper bowl the title games are much better because the super bowl is about the casual fans and non fans its not about the game..

Im sure youre being sarcastic but the year Peyton finally won it...I guarantee the Patriots win had more juice for you than the boring ass Bears Super Bowl.

I was so drunk/high I don't even remember the Colts/Bears SB.

Outside of the opening KR i couldn't tell you what happened. I just know they won.
