It would be one thing if Salley prefaced his statement and limited his analysis to that time period but he did not. He was asked TODAY about Mike being the GOAT and said no he isn't RIGHT NOW because of shyt that happened early in his career or even before he got in the league. That said it's not as if Mike didn't still put up numbers against the Pistons. So any way you look at it the reasoning he provided to support his claim was stupid and in turn made his entire argument look dumb. We can argue Mike being the GOAT all day.
