Yes I do believe there are movies made with us in mind, the small budget and difference in marketing and marketing dollars says as much, lack of theatres it plays in,shytty time slots etc.

A lot of our classic shows had white writers and producers too,so I'm not sure how we enjoy any of these classic movies and tv shows if this is your stance:mjcry:....c00ning to me depends on the audience, how many movies have you described as a "black movies" in your life?,if you never described a movie that way then your rare....Most people do acknowledge movies to be black movies, and this is as black of a movie as you can get in terms of who the intended audience is. Plus you don't think theres balance now?primetime tv is still lacking , which is why Empire being the hit it is,is just:snoop:?But movies I feel like have been pretty diverse, probaly more diverse than when I was growing up,and blacks have gotten a wider range of representation.

And besides just the audience,c00ning also depends on that gut feeling you get,Ive had that feeling in a couple Wayans brothers flicks which is why I worry about his......We'll just have to wait and see,i might get that feeling during this movie, but the trailer just didn't do it:manny:...I just saw two black people exchanging jokes that certainly aren't forbidden in the black community among each other, whether u think its right or wrong.
So basically you're cool with whites writing planet of the apes and Ebola jokes in regards to blacks as long as it's a movie mostly aimed at a black audience huh?

Bruh, whites are the number one movie goers in this country by far. ANY movie released by Hollywood has the white audience in my mind. The movie is actually co-written by a white woman:heh: So just think about that while a-kee keeing at the jokes. Yea it's an all black movie..............that's built around nothing but popular black stereotypes which just happens to be the only time white people are comfortable seeing blacks on the screen.

Mike Epps is a c00n/buffoon. His Cornish/buffoonish behavior makes white people laugh. He's not Kevin Hart but he's done pretty well in Hollywood. He's constantly working. He's already crossed over. What do you mean "trying"? Here's what you've got to understand bruh. Holluwood never produced anything just for us. Even the entertainment that is geared toward our audience also caters to whites as well. You see these black shows/movies produced/written/produced by whites and think that they don't have the white audience in mind too? Come on son:shaq2:

A lot of the shyt is c00ning:yeshrug: Martin did a lot of over the top buffoonish/c00nish shyt. That doesn't mean that it wasn't funny. Plus Martin came at a time when Cosby/Different World and all that was still airing on national primetime TV, so there was at least some balance. While Martin did act like a buffo at times, he never did anything as blatantly c00nish as this Meet the Blacks shyt. Do you really need to see anything more than the Planet of the apes and Ebola jokes to know what this is? What's c00ning to you?
Dawg..im more concerned about how movies like these affect the black mind and limit our own potential to a selct few roles....because society perpetuates them and black actors and actresses feed into them and then are broadcasted and then black people young and old think this is the way to act as a black person in America.

There was a study that television destroys the self-esteem of young black males. Do people think films like these dont do the same thing?

But as evident in this thread we already have a gang of black people conditioned to accept inferiority as long as they can enjoy it and profit from it.

Mike Epps staring in a movie, Joe Budden "Pump It Up" as the films promo theme. Makes me want to put on a XL t-shirt, some jean shorts, throw on some uptowns and head to Delancy to get my hair braided before I go and cop Kingdom Hearts for my PS2.
