Is Mikey Garcia serious about jumping to 147 for a bout with Errol Spence?

I just wonder what he sees that makes him want that smoke. Is there a flaw he spots? Is it a case of nothing to lose? I mean even if he loses fans will chalk it off as he was supposed to lose anyway but will get props for heart. Personally I'd like to see him tango with Danny. I think an uninjured Thurman would give him major problems.

This. This is a dumb if but if they were guys who had been fighting in the same division for a while I feel like I'd have Mikey a 65/35 favoritei guess garcia thinks he can hit spence with right hands.
i think he's right.
It's the size and living with a heavy hitting welterweights power/body punching for 12 rounds that throws this in Errol's favor to me. But I think if they fight Mikey has a UD win coming if he can handle the power.

I rewatched Brook recently Brook wasn't just boxing his ears off and landing clean he was also buzzing the shyt out of spence
