St. Louis has one of the best medical schools/universities in the U.S. as well as some of the wealthiest neighborhoods in the Midwest. Their are great neighborhoods to raise your kids in outside of inner city.

I seriously wonder how the bloodshed has affected the black population there. Probably will be wiped out in the next century

well i am (so i'll defend it...again)

posting from the middle of the JVL
a supposed warzone, from what i hear from outsiders
but then again, i don't hang around outside of hole in the wall establishments @ 4am
waiting for shots to pop off
i got better things to do, as do most of the community
as that is just a segment
a segment that has recently had to deal with their schools being underfunded/non accredited/etc
hopefully, it'll go back to the way it was when i grew up in the big/bad 80s/90s
when our public school programs weren't being cut/gutted

a lot of people on here that don't actually live in the city, and others who have never been to st. louis in their life (like the clown below) got a lot to say about the city
i understand the former, cause even i drifted away, attending hs in north county (lhsn)
and i moved to st. peters (st. charles county) in the 2000s
but i'm back and wouldn't want to live anywhere else but the north side of st. louis
regarding the latter, if you're scared, you can stay your pvssy ass in your world class city
