Money isnt the root of evil. Money is just a tangible thing that people covet the most because it allows you to live the type of life that you want. In the past you could say land was the root of all evil because people would do anything to possess more of it. Its people right now in some remote area killing each other over trees and yams.

Money is merely a scapegoat for the real issue.

Money is but a symbol. A symbol of power and control. The ability to look down upon another man. and the name to have other men look up to you. The authority to control and manipulate your reality to your liking.

To be high, someone has to be low. To have power someone else must be powerless. It is the lust to create that, and, the balls and brutality needed to maintain that.

Money is the dominant manifestation of this. But we do see other examples of this such as rape, womanizing, and violence for sport.
