Never in my life have I ever heard someone say those albums are classic. They were solid. Not everything from 20+ years ago is classic because it was entertaining. They were cool albums

I’ve never heard anyone refer to murder inc as a rap crew. I always thought it was a weird name for a label with rnb singers and a rapper who made pop hits

But while the album wasnt a classic… in the CLASSIC sense

The hype and buzz after was as if they did

But yea dips got no classic albums, but they had the big songs and street tapes that pretty much gave it classic status. Id say minus the jay, before kanye … neither id roc or the lox… and only 50 on gunit… dips had the best record between all 4 big new nyc crews



Griselda got no classics nor the proper street buzz a classic gives you
