KInd of see what you're saying, and that might be why I'm more into electronic/trap/future bounce /EDM/whatever you wanna call music now...there's it's really strictly about the music, I have no idea who are most of the producers I listen to, a lot of them I don't even know which country they're from. Download random beats compilations with artists that might even never hear from again, so yeah it's really only the music that I care about

No.... there's literally nothing special about music anymore....there's no soul....no humility...no love...just nothing

it's actually quite depressing....

black men were a huge factor in soul music....rhythm and blues..

and now...rap music dominates everything ...and the majority of this music is so soul less
and I feel like the only reason why a lot of
black men cling to it is because they feel like it gives them worldwide recognition....

and the only reason why it gets worldwide recognition is because it paints black men as soul less ....

but no one recognizes or cares....

I just appreciate the 80's,90's and even early 2000 music now...and all the old school artists
still releasing music....

I think this is the reason why I like Tyrese so much....say what you want about him....but he's an artist who came out in the 2000's...and could of conformed but will let you know he loves soul music

It's a big factor, probably a large part of why D'Angelo is my favorite artist of all time

and when Kanye would tweet like once every year it always made things seem more special when he did say something
