Getting no signal on my TV. I've checked all connections, still no good.

Is there any way of knowing if my GPU is dead without swapping it into a different PC?

Just the initial beep and the hard drive noises.

It's still under warranty. If I RMA it would they just replace it, or how does that work?
contact the manufacturer

if you have a local PC shop they can probably test the gpu for you

easiest way is to check the GPU in another PC or swap video cards. If it works in another PC, then it's probably the PCI-E bus.

Put it in your other PCIe slot, if you have an extra (which you probably do). See if that works. If not, just take your card to a friend's house and try it out on their PC, If it doesn't work on his/her PC. then it's RMA time

I always keep 2 PCs in rotation to check for this type of shyt

Only got one slot. Don't have a friend with a capable PC :francis:

I'm just bout to RMA it. Do they check it to see if it's broke or do they just send you another one?

They check it, then send it back if it's good on their end. If it's bad, they'll send you a new one. It's kinda a hassle really, so be warned. It might take a month. They'll probably try to troubleshoot it with you, go back and forth, and then give in. Nvidia made me make videos and take pics when my shyt was fukking up. The RMA process is no fun.

I'd take it to a local repair shop first to be honest. Let them test it. If it's bad, then you have positive proof that's it's the GPU. The GPU companies like that. Right now they can say it's your PSU, Mobo, HDD, etc. They really don't like RMAing shyt, so if you can get positive proof from the local computer guys, they'll have to send you a new one (you might have to yell at them on the phone for an hour or so, but they'll give in). I've RMA'd 4 GPUs in the past 5 years. It's always a hassle. So good luck
