Not at all. I love them but they’re disappointments to me in terms of older brothers. Especially when they could have avoided us having moving back into our current housing by doing some simple paperwork to help my mom.

The arrangements are starting to take toll on our mental health

I guess its a blessing in disguise. shyt is so dysfunctional.

Not related: London is so dope. I was there last fall, rooftop at the Mondorian on the Thames, ate at Core by Clare Smyth in Notting Hill, you need to hit those spots if you are able to.

I went last fall too and came away disappointed. Architecturally it's uglier than NYC/Paris/Barcelona etc, food is OK but still not on the level, people didn't seem as happy or interesting and it was gray and rainy for most of it

It sucks that your brother is mooching and that needs to be addressed but it is your mother's place and she can do as she pleases, you're of adult age you can move out (yes I understand very well the cost of living in LDN is brazy) but there are various ways to get a place of your own.

I was confused as hell by the responses but yeah America is very different

Last year of sixth form, GCSES didnt go to well but I’m trying to claw it back.

I have universities lined up but would rather get something that offers training and a job (EG Raf reserves). Still got it as back up and deferred entry for a year.

As for the living situation, it's one of those ' grins and bear it' situations for now until you have the bread or you can go down the hostel route, a few of my boys did that back in the day, I'm not sure what the rules are now tho.
