wheres your dad?

move out.

He has the space but that nikka retired early and enjoying life alongside caring for my grandparents:manny:

Hes doesnt put a lot of effort into raising me or my sister(whos a year older) because hes clearly ran out of parental energy.

Kinda sucks having parents with kids much older because all want to is grandparent duties and it’s so obvious :skip:

House prices in London are a damn joke. Even hipsters can just about afford to live in polpular areas that were previously rundown.

What people need to understand is that this whole 'you still living with your parents' accusation does not apply in places like London anymore. Very few people i know in their 20s have moved out. A few i know that did move out even had to move back home cos how inflated rents are. So I understand how stuck you feel.

OP, just respect your mum's decisions and do YOUR best to succeed so that you can make it out of your struggle. An option would be to try apply for council housing and hope that another party sorts out this housing crisis, or better yet, why dont you just rent your place from her after your brother leaves.

I live in a two bedroom apartment with my mom, two older brothers (33 and 35) and one of their girlfriends.

Serious question, where your father at? If he's passed on that's one thing, but if not it's understandable if your tension was pointed at your mother. From the outside perspective, this sounding like some rat hoe mother s*** :manny:

I’m more annoyed at him.

My mother is far from perfect but shes supported me and fed me from day one, shes just too lenient on certain shyt.

He actually has the space for me plus a better environment but hes never really reached out like that :pacspit:

We cool but idk if we’re living together cool and I don’t think he’d want that :yeshrug:

Thank you breh.

I know the prices are ridiculous but if you’ve had 18 years to get your shyt together theres no way you can be 35 and not even have savings :gucci:

Might have to apply for housing or just go off to uni and face the debt :mjcry:

I cant rent it from her because I cant offer the amount of money they do. They have proper full time jobs whilst I just have a shytty part time one.

A fleeting childhood
Y'all wilding and not seeing the bigger picture.. she doing a service to all of her children (a bit long but i don't know their employment history of the older two.) If housing is expensive there, it's gonna be expensive for two men either way. Might as well be with family since to didn't mention anything about moving out of the city and buying a house. My cousins live with their parents and they all make upwards of 80k in NYC but they dont have enough for a comparable house to the one they are living in. There are certain restrictions but they have enough excess money to induldge in those things elsewere. At least your mom collected rent off em for all those years that helped raise YOU. YOU cant afford whatever the price she is going to ask for the room but it's a benefit in the long run. That's anywhere between 5k and 8k extra income

because you're unhappy about your living conditions.

Breh I literally cannot move out :dwillhuh:

That isnt even really a plausible idea for someone my age unless you’re a drug dealer/fraudster or some shyt :skip:

Ill be homeless by the end of the week

I’m a part time minimum wage worker which is cool for my age I guess but not anywhere near enough to live off

Just gonna have to deal with it for now I guess but I wanted some coli opinions
