You're not paying attention. The hip hop renaissance is taking place and has been for a little while now. It's so many different artists, sounds and flows out right now it's insane. Not to mention some of the vets (Mase, Jay, Dipset) just popped back up with some new material. It's really a good time to be into hip hop.
