yea man
he got a 4 album deal and this will be his 4th album.
final albums they tend to get weird with the release.
Kind of doubt this is the issue...who knows though....
But part of me wishes he would just say it and get it over with...
Tell us how your hunger/drive has gone away with today's backward ass game. Pill popping teens with colored hair and tats on their face have taken over. Nowadays, albums have a month lifespan, maybe less. There's hardly any competition for Nas either. Cole/Drake/Kendrick do not count as competition, those dudes idolize him. Maybe Jay...cause of 4:44? But that's old lunch money for Esco...
How will his return (& very likely his last album) impact the game as much as he would like it to?
How does he drop a project that's "relevant" without looking like an old head? Too many obstacles brehs
I would hate it if the gawd drops a project that goes over well in terms of sales, media, popularity, touring, etc, but sounds like he only put half his heart in it.
I remember when he first began talking about his next LP...saying he was having lots of fun and wanted his album to sound like it too....
Really hope that I'm totally wrong, being that Nas been my favorite rapper since I was a kid.
Just being realistic here brehs
