corny ass Ebro... :what:

But I agree. Metaphors, storytelling, flow, concepts....who is better? You can say G Rap had the better flow but Nas gets him on everything else. You can maybe do a coin toss in terms of evocative lyrics between Nas and Ghostface, both are pretty much untouchable in that regard. But when I put all the stats on the paper and add them up, Nas comes up higher than everyone.

I'ma Nas stan till i DIE and he is EASILY the GOAT but on Stillmatic; Smokin, Rule, and My Country beatwise were underwhelming
Smokin' isn't a bad beat :ld:, Rule isn't bad either. My Country is underwhelming though overall Nas best selection isn't bad it's a myth nikkas act like Nas was Canibus

I agree. His beats fit the type of song. Does some beats fall short? of course, but that's with ANY artist and especially somebody in his case that's been pushing albums out since 1994. But lyrically, this shouldn't even be a question of who's the GOAT

Yes, Nas is the best rapper ever.
:upsetfavre: most of nas' albums beat selections have been hit or miss
so most of his albums beat selection have been hit or miss, so that means "Nas has the worst beat catalogue of all-time"? Thousands of rappers have came out, and Nas production is the worst of them all?

I'll put it like this, if Nas picked different beats, like say if Nas picked the beats from Rick Ross early stuff(not the heavy trap beats). I dont think Nas would sound comfortable on those. For the type of MC he is, he needs beats that would compliment his style and not take your attention away from what he's saying. I still wouldn't mind him over some soulful beats, but we all know that's not going to happen due to the record industry going away from that style of sampling

You listed 4 albums, Nas has 11 albums.
Those are his best albums :manny: the only album with poor production from Nas is Nastradamus and Streets Disciple was hit and miss.

Let's not act like all of Jay's albums were well produced, lets not act like Pac didn't have wack beats from time to time. 2Pac actually had ass production for the first few years of his career.
