You're right. I just want to see what's what with a ban. I'll wait to hear from admin.

NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Again, that's one album and it doesn't really count. It's all old songs.
It's some songs from I Am and the rest are from Stillmatic era..in which there's nothing wrong with the beats on that album...there wasn't even really anything wrong with the beats on I Am in majority to tell u the truth...Nastradamus had some wack shyt..Gods Son's beats was nice for the most part...u can make a case for SD as the album is an acquired taste.....

I forgot about I Am, I actually fukk with that album

But again, majority of Nas albums are filled with terrible production. Unlistenable at times

Nope.

Best writer ever, but he has the worst beat selection of any great rapper, and his sell out moments are :scusthov: status; it makes a lot of his projects and some of his artistic direction overall kinda muddy sometimes.

Nas & Pac are my favorite artists of all time. I like them both equally the same.

Nas is one of my favorites despite his awful beat selection. It's disappointing, because a top tier artist should have top tier production. He has a large catalog, so your not going to like everything. That goes for most artist.

Stop it name 3 beats from Lost Tapes that are bad, name 3 beats from It Was Written that are bad, Stillmatic/Ilmatic? :comeon:

so god's son,
Yes, Nas is the best rapper ever.

so most of his albums beat selection have been hit or miss, so that means "Nas has the worst beat catalogue of all-time"? Thousands of rappers have came out, and Nas production is the worst of them all?

precisely

what exactly does poor beat selection have to do with being the best mc ever? if anything, it just adds to the declaration that he's the best ever, no? he's able to make songs with these "wack beats" still sound good because his lyrics completely overshadow and dominate the production, UNLIKE 95% of current rap where the beat and the hook is everything. nas isn't usually trying to make you dance and twerk and all that other shyt you nikkas be doin, with him it's more about listening than hearing, that doesn't mean awful production should be tolerated but still, Nas one of the only cats who doesn't need a crazy ass beat for the song to be crazy as hell.

I can agree with the bolded. But the rest of this post is basura. "run fast like a cheetah" is terrible lyrics.
