By Nas standards it's a bad album. By 1999 major label hip hop release standards it's a solid album.

Life We Chose, Project Windows, Last Words and Family are the strongest tracks. Come Get Me is good but probably the worst Nas-Preemo track. There's some other solid tracks on there.

On the other hand it's the only Nas album where it's obvious he phoned in a solid number of tracks. But Big Girl is the only legitimately awful track

It's a brick. Only good song is the Ron Isley song and fittingly, it was the only song from the original I Am sessions. Come & Get Me too.

Nas is my #2 favorite of all time but the Nas stan coalition on here been getting on my nerves lately

somehow people shyt on Nastradamus all the time, but Blueprint 2 or Kingdome Come are never discussed... Nastradamus is far better than those two. BP2 only has one good song on a double disc, KC maybe has 2. Nastradamus has at least 4, I count 6

Nas was at his peak in 99.

Of course it was a disappointment but Life We Chose alone is better than every track he released this decade.

The best song is project windows, but even with that I don’t listen to the album version. The og version with Isley sounds better.
