If you plan to play portable OLED is the way. If you plan on mostly playing it docked on your tv get the regular one, second hand somewhere preferably without joycons and just buy a pro controller

Because they suck. The ergonomics of it suck with small ass buttons, terrible shape, and the quality sucks, if you buy them they will break. If you don’t plan on playing portable save yourself the trouble and just cop the pro controller

Was trying to figure this out myself as I try to replace my nephew's Switch lite he broke earlier this year. Ain't really convinced it's worth the 350 but the reg is like 3 hundo so I'm only saving 50 bucks

The OLED is really nice, if you play it undocked a good bit.

The screen and lighting pops much more.

If you play docked mostly, then no

switch was literally the worst tech purchase I've made in recent memory. Depressingly garbage system.
