Is "No Snitching" REALLY a Black Phenomenon?

OP is confusing "black" with "urban". Go to any urban community, of any race, and you'll see the same no snitching/ratting culture. There's also plenty of decent, majority black neighborhoods where they'll call the cops on you quick.

Nobody likes the cops. that's the issue. It's not a "black" thing. Typically...people go to the cops ONLY when they need something. Most people (of all races, affiliations,creeds, colors, genders etc.) are on that when it comes to being a "good Samaritan"

You want everyone to agree with you that ONLY black people subscribe to "no snitching"...it's not true. Many people of all races and creeds feel the same way that we feel toward the police. Many people do not come forward with information to the cops. Many people see crimes and do not intervene. It is not a black only phenomenon.

Get over it. Make some friends of another race and ask them directly. Stop generalizing all and only black people. Trust me...white people are not as redeemable as you want them to be. Mexican people, Arabic people, Jewish people, etc. etc. are not upstanding citizens who rush to the cops in droves with information leading to criminal arrests. It is not a purely "black" thing to withhold information from the police.
