Is not saying 'your welcome' to someone's thank you considered rude

Everyone puts an emphasis on how rude it is to not say thank you but what about the other way around

Another response is ok... no problem, my pleasure, enjoy, see you next time, etc. but to just end on silence is awkward

I usually say no problem..

I think no response at all is kind of rude.
