i remember in some interview where rza, ghost and raekwon or 1 of em' were all sayin' how the album tells the story of 2 guys who tryin' to pull off 1 last hit and then of course the intro lets you know that but after all these years i always get so lost in the music that i never follow it all the way through to see if it really follows all the way through the whole album with this "concept"

Nah, I think it was a XXL issue where they did a "Making Of...." on it. You know, where everybody involved breaks the album down

Cuban Linx is a concept album, but it doesn't have a tight narrative like, for instance, a Twelve Reasons to Die or Sticky Fingaz: The Autobiography of Kirk Jones. Those albums consist of songs that tell a story in sequence. Linx tells the story of two hustlers trying to make it out of the hood but for the most part each song is independent of each other.
