Cuban Linx is a concept album, but it doesn't have a tight narrative like, for instance, a Twelve Reasons to Die or Sticky Fingaz: The Autobiography of Kirk Jones. Those albums consist of songs that tell a story in sequence. Linx tells the story of two hustlers trying to make it out of the hood but for the most part each song is independent of each other.

Yea, I never really looked at as an album that told a story in sequence because it doesn't necessarily do that. You can place most the songs on Cuban Linx on a Wu group album and it wouldn't be that out of place. You can't place "Sherane" off GKMC and place it on a Black Hippy project without it kind of being out of place.

Yea it's definitely a concept album but the way the RZA chops the album, it almost feels like a day in the life told from different perspectives.
